It is indeed an exciting time to share in our success story. The future of our students is our inspiration hence we are resolute to avail our students the very best learning experiences and opportunities. Our academic programs are designed to make our pre-service and in-serve teachers (students) not just readily to face challenges ahead for teachers but to stand them out anywhere in the globe. At Kwara State College of Education, Oro, we focus on providing quality professional training to all our students and value discipline in our students.

Kwara State College of Education, Oro is a reckonable institution established in 1976 which is set stand as reference point for other educational institutions in Kwara State, Nigeria and abound sooner. The College awards NCE degrees and has six Schools, namely: School of Education; School of Early Childhood Care Education and Primary Education; School of Secondary Education (Arts and Social Science); School of Secondary Education (Languages); School of Secondary Education (Sciences); and School of Secondary Education (Vocational Education). The College is housing more than twenty-six Departments and programmes. It is affiliated with Ekiti State University for the Degree Courses in Education. It has Information Technology (IT) facilities and several infrastructures to cater for its students.

Past successes the institution has recorded can be attributed to couple of factors which include the ever-dedicated staff, motivated and confident students, our unique academic environment, the supports and engagement of active governing council, donors, partners, TETFUND and Kwara State Government.

According to Scott Hayden, Teachers have three loves: love of learning, love of learners, and the love of bringing the first two loves together. This is our believe and strongly depicted in our college.
